Nebraska Warrant Records Nebraska Warrant Records

This policy describes the visitor information collected through Nebraska Warrant Records, how that information is used, and the limited situations in which it may be shared. Use of the site is subject to the practices set out here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

If you enter a name or date of birth in a search tool on this site, the information is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

When you email us, we retain the message to handle and reply to it. Our team uses it for that purpose and does not disclose it outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

A page request also sends technical information to our servers. This may include:

  • The date and time of the page request
  • The pages opened and the time spent on them
  • Your browser and its version
  • Your device and operating system type
  • The referring site, if one was supplied
  • The IP address assigned to your device

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, small files saved on your device, to understand general traffic patterns such as which pages draw visits and where readers leave. Analytics providers help summarize those patterns. You can block cookies in your browser; some site functions may then work differently.

What We Do With This Data

  • Diagnosing and correcting technical problems
  • Operating and improving page performance
  • Forwarding a search query to the provider that runs the selected tool
  • Measuring which pages readers use
  • Displaying ads that may reflect your interests

No Warrant Data on File

Nebraska Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant records. Nebraska has no public statewide warrant-only search: JUSTICE provides public trial-court case information, while current warrant status must be checked with the issuing court and the county sheriff or other serving agency. Public inspection of government records is governed by the Nebraska Public Records Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§84-712 through 84-712.09. Electronic court-record access is governed by Neb. Ct. R. §§1-804 and 2-215, with sealed and confidential records excluded under §1-808. Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-817 keeps search-warrant applications and supporting material confidential before execution, and juvenile records have separate access and sealing limits under §§43-2,108 and 43-2,108.05. These official-record rules do not make this site the custodian of those records. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information we collect is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

Companies outside this site operate the search boxes. A query entered there is handled under that provider's privacy policy, retention schedule, and sharing terms. We do not control those practices, so review the provider's policy before submitting information.

Links to Other Websites

Links on these pages may lead to JUSTICE case information, Nebraska court resources, county sheriff pages, legal-aid services, or outside search tools. Once you leave this site, the other provider's privacy policy applies. Read it before you send personal information.

Some advertising partners may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted ads. That tracking is handled by those partners, not by us.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Information may be available to these service providers or recipients:

  • Analytics services that measure site traffic and performance
  • Providers that process searches submitted through their tools
  • Advertising networks that place ads on the pages
  • Government bodies or law enforcement when a valid legal order requires disclosure

How We Protect Your Data

We use standard security practices to protect the information collected through the site. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, so we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.

Users Under 18

This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor's information was sent to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Your Data Rights

The Nebraska Public Records Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§84-712 through 84-712.09, governs access to covered public records held by government bodies; it does not make this private site a public-records custodian. If you have a question about information associated with your use of this site, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold information about you and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
  • Request deletion of information we can identify and lawfully remove
  • Ask how information associated with your use of the site is handled

We may revise this privacy policy from time to time. A change takes effect when the new version appears here with its effective date. Please review this page again if you want to see the current practices.
