Nebraska Warrant Records Nebraska Warrant Records

Nebraska Warrant Records is a private reference site, not a court, sheriff, or government contact office. Nebraska has no public statewide warrant-only search or central warrant counter. Use the routes below to find statewide court case information or reach the county court and sheriff that can answer a local warrant question.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Nebraska Warrant Records is privately operated. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the issuing court and the county sheriff or other agency named to serve the warrant for an official answer.

Need Official Warrant Information?

For official records or a current status answer, start with the office that keeps or serves the specific case:

  • Whether a warrant exists: there is no statewide public warrant-only lookup. Use Browse Counties to identify the relevant county, then ask its sheriff and the issuing court to check the current order.
  • A missed court date or bench warrant: County Courts handle most traffic, ordinance, and misdemeanor cases; a felony matter may be in District Court after bindover. Find the county court through Browse Counties and verify which court issued the process.
  • Resolving a warrant: speak with a licensed Nebraska attorney and the issuing court about the case, any appearance or bond terms, and the court's process for a recall or other order. Browse Counties to reach local court and sheriff contacts.
  • Public statewide case information: Nebraska Judicial Branch's JUSTICE case-search service covers public County and District Court case information. It is not an active-warrant register and cannot confirm that a warrant is current or absent.
  • State Patrol records: the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division handles criminal-history record checks, not live warrant-status searches. For a warrant, contact the issuing court and serving county sheriff instead.

Nebraska has 93 counties, with local court and sheriff channels rather than a single statewide warrant counter. District Court records are maintained by the Clerk of the District Court. County Court records are handled by a clerk magistrate, with a judicial administrator serving that role in Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy Counties. For an official status answer or a local matter, use Browse Counties to reach the right office.
