Nebraska Warrant Records Nebraska Warrant Records

Nebraska has no public statewide warrant-only search. The JUSTICE service lets people search public trial-court case information across all 93 counties, but it does not confirm whether a warrant is active, recalled, or served. This private hub explains that difference and points readers toward the Nebraska court and county sheriff channels that can confirm a specific record.

Why We Built This Site

Nebraska has public court case-search access, but not one public warrant register for the whole state. JUSTICE covers public trial-court case information statewide; its results are not a live warrant-status check. The Nebraska Crime Commission's NCJIS portal is for secure justice-agency access, and the Nebraska State Patrol's Criminal Identification Division offers criminal-history checks, not confirmation of a current court warrant. A warrant begins with a case before a court. County Courts handle most misdemeanor, traffic, and city-ordinance matters, while felony cases proceed to District Court after a preliminary hearing and bindover. Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy Counties also have separate Juvenile Courts, where access is restricted by statute and court rules. The Clerk of the District Court keeps District Court case records. County Court records are handled by a clerk magistrate, with a judicial administrator serving that role in Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy Counties. The court controls the order, while the county sheriff or another officer named in the warrant serves it. This hub therefore guides readers from statewide case information to the correct local court and sheriff among Nebraska's 93 counties. A missing result in a case search or a local list does not establish that no warrant exists.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not a Nebraska court, sheriff's office, or state agency. We cannot provide an official warrant check, and our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
  • We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
  • We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
  • We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
  • We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or local warrant listing is current

Only the issuing court and the county sheriff or other serving agency can confirm the status of a particular warrant. We can explain statewide case-search limits and direct you to the right county office, but confirmation must come from the office that holds the record.

Search Partners

Third-party providers operate some search boxes on this site and set their own prices and service terms. If a visitor reaches a paid signup through one of those tools, we may receive a referral fee that helps support the site. We do not control their charges or results, and their services are not official Nebraska warrant checks.
